For the segment, "Which One is XX, Ono or Hanae!?", the pair put their pride as professional voice actors on the line for a battle of "expressive power," all while laughing and joking about how "this is bad!" and "it might affect our future work." The first round, the "Onomatopoeia Battle," challenged them to see how many topics they could convey within one minute using only onomatopoeia and mimesis. A representative viewer, Kawase-san, served as the guesser.
During Hanae's turn, he tried to express "tonkotsu ramen" with sounds like "slurp, slurp," "oink, oink," "sniff, sniff," and "huff, huff," but was unsuccessful. He eventually resorted to desperate hints like "tap, tap" and "clack, clack" to get the correct answer. Ono immediately shot back, "Hold on, I object! 'Tap, tap' is acceptable, but what's 'clack, clack'?" Hanae explained, "That's the sound of the bones hitting each other when you're making the broth!" The audience erupted in laughter as he only managed to get one correct answer.
For Ono's turn, the topic was a "ticket gate." He tried to express it with sounds like "beep!" and "doo doo doo doo," but failed. He finally resorted to imitating the announcement, "The train will soon be arriving." Hanae's guess was "Suica," resulting in zero correct answers. Hanae shot back, "You gave us too little information!" A dejected Ono sighed, "No way! What more could I have done!?"
In a re-challenge, with topics including "toast," "shamisen," and "barbecue," both of them scored zero. The voice actors' onomatopoeia battle ended in a complete mess. The two gave a wry smile, saying, "I can't believe how much effort we put in and it didn't get through," and "it just didn't resonate." Laughter filled the studio once again.
The show also featured other rounds, including the "Look That Makes Someone Ask 'Did Something Good Happen?' Battle" using an AI-based "Just-Right Happiness Face Checker," and the "Let's Find the Perfect Words for This Emotion" battle, where they were asked to verbalize an emotion. For the "Did Something Good Happen?" battle, the AI's judgments included comments like "53 points - What a goofy grin" and "86 points - What's so funny?" which caused the studio to burst into laughter. The "Let's Find the Perfect Words" round gave them a challenging theme, like "What's an expression one step above 'I want it so badly my mouth is watering'?", leading to a flurry of unique metaphors and turning the "expressive power" showdown into a full-on comedy improv session.
