The official report has arrived from the world premiere screening of the anime "Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26," which was held at the "Global Stage Hollywood Film Festival 2025" in Los Angeles on October 5th, local time.

The anime features all eight stories included in the two collections "Tatsuki Fujimoto Short Stories 17-21" and "Tatsuki Fujimoto Short Stories 22-26." It includes a variety of narratives such as "Niwa niwa Niwa Niwatorigairu," which depicts the bond between two survivors in a post-apocalyptic world, the sci-fi romantic comedy "Koi wa Moumoku," the story of a deranged hitgirl's rampaging love "Shikaku," and "Imouto no Ane," which explores the jealousy, conflict, and growth between art-driven sisters. The anime will have a limited two-week theatrical release starting on Friday, October 17, 2025, and will be exclusively available on Prime Video from Saturday, November 8, 2025.
The world premiere of "Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26" was held at the prestigious Chinese Theatre as part of the "Global Stage Hollywood Film Festival 2025," which took place from Friday, October 3rd to Sunday, October 5th, local time.
Director Seishiro Nagaya of "Niwa niwa Niwa Niwatorigairu," Director Nobuyuki Takeuchi of "Koi wa Moumoku," and Ryo Oyama, who was in charge of planning and producing this work for Avex Animation Labels, attended the premiere.
As it was the first opportunity for the world to see the film, fans dressed in Tatsuki Fujimoto merchandise and carrying the original works flocked to the venue. Amidst the crowd of standing attendees and thunderous applause, Director Nagaya expressed, "Since you've all come to the world premiere, I believe you must be the biggest 'Tatsuki Fujimoto fans' in America, so I'm nervous but very happy to screen it in front of you." Director Takeuchi conveyed his joy to the local fans by saying, "I've loved 'Columbo' since I was a child, and I'm truly delighted to have this premiere screening right in the heart of Hollywood," which further enlivened the venue.
