On Friday, October 3, 2025, from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM, episode #62 of "SHIBUYA ANIME BASE" (#ShibuAni) was broadcast live on ABEMA. In this episode, voice actress Fuka Izumi made her first appearance as a studio guest.

In the segment titled "My Anime Resume," guest Fuka Izumi delved into her anime history in the form of a resume. Izumi recounted her childhood, stating that she "watched 'Cardcaptor Sakura' and 'Nintama Rantaro' like a typical young girl." A precious photo of her enjoying a local festival from that time was also shared.

Furthermore, Izumi shared an episode from 2011, saying, "I heard that the character Sougo Okita from the anime 'Gintama' actually has a voice actor, and it was brought to me like a scoop by my sister's otaku friend. They said, 'The voice actor for Okita is apparently cool!' This information reached me when I was in elementary school, and when I looked it up, it was true—there was indeed a cool voice actor! That's when I became aware of voice actors, and I started watching anime from that perspective." In response, Shugo Nakamura commented, "If Suzumura-san (the voice actor for Sougo Okita, Kenichi Suzumura) were here, he would have said, 'Say more!' (laughs)," eliciting laughter in the studio.

In 2013, Izumi watched the anime 'Angel Beats!' and said she "flipped out." She explained, "I wasn't really at an age where I watched late-night anime, but while my parents were urging me to go to bed, I was watching CS, and episode 4 was on. Episode 4 had the opening song 'My soul, Your Beats!' arranged by Girls Dead Monster (Garudemo), and it flipped me out. It was the first late-night anime I got hooked on. After that, I loaded my Walkman with Garudemo's songs and listened to them a lot before going to bed."
