The release date for "Shin-Gekijōban Gintama: Yoshiwara Daienjō" has been unveiled. In addition, a scene photo of Gintoki and the latest updates on the YouTube "Gintama Channel" have been revealed.
The wildly popular manga "Gintama," serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha) and created by Hideaki Sorachi, boasts a worldwide total of 73 million copies in circulation (including digital editions). This exhilarating entertainment, packed with side-splitting gags, intense action, heartwarming stories, and bonds between characters, has been adapted into TV and theatrical anime, live-action films, and streaming dramas. In October 2025, the spin-off novel "GINTAMA - Mr. Ginpachi's Zany Class" (original story by Hideaki Sorachi, written by Tomohito Ōsaki) will start airing as a TV anime.
