Ramen or Voice Acting - Which Would You Quit?

The next theme was "Which would you quit: Ramen or Voice Acting?" Yashiro took the "ramen side" and Namikawa took the "voice acting side" to begin the debate. While Yashiro quipped, "You really sound like someone who's quitting voice acting," he argued, "If you quit voice acting, you'll have a lifestyle where you can't easily eat ramen, so it should be ramen." Namikawa responded, "That's not true. The hourly wage has gone up now," but when Yashiro retorted, "We don't need to hear that kind of boss talk," laughter erupted in the studio.

Furthermore, when Yashiro threw out, "Namikawa-san, you're able to work because of your efforts, but also thanks to the seniors who've helped you and all your fans, right? Are you saying you like ramen more than that? When you think about who you're grateful to, is it ramen that comes to mind instead of your fans?", Namikawa countered, "I'm grateful to everyone. I can't do this without people watching. But have you ever thought about ramen's feelings? Ramen can't exist without people to eat it." Yashiro passionately argued, "There are roles only Namikawa-san can play. There's no ramen only Namikawa-san can eat!" The persuasiveness was so overwhelming that Namikawa conceded, "I think so too... let's tally it up," resulting in Yashiro's overwhelming victory.

Namikawa remarked, "I feel like I said something wrong. It's like I was encouraged by my junior for five minutes," and when Yashiro concluded with "Please never eat ramen again (laugh)," Namikawa responded, "That would be tough!", ending the debate in laughter.
