Movie "Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise" Released! Cast Members Including Kaede Hondo Gather for Opening Day Stage Greeting

The theatrical film "Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise" was released nationwide on Friday, October 24th. On the opening day, a stage greeting titled "Franchouchou Returns to Saga" was held in Saga Prefecture, the setting of the work, with Kaede Hondo, Asami Tano, Risa Taneda, Maki Kawase, Rika Kinugawa, and Minami Tanaka taking the stage.

"Zombie Land Saga" is a "new sensation zombie idol original TV anime" that depicts seven girls who are revived as zombies by the mysterious idol producer Kōtarō Tatsumi and struggle to save Saga Prefecture as the local idol group Franchouchou. Two series of the TV anime were produced. The theatrical version depicts the greatest crisis in Saga approaching Franchouchou as they prepare for a live performance at the "Saga Expo."

On Friday, October 24th, the opening day of the theatrical film "Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise," an opening day stage greeting called "Franchouchou Returns to Saga" was held in Saga, with Kaede Hondo as Sakura Minamoto, Asami Tano as Saki Nikaidō, Risa Taneda as Ai Mizuno, Maki Kawase as Junko Konno, Rika Kinugawa as Yūgiri, and Minami Tanaka as Lily Hoshikawa taking the stage.

After four years, finally welcoming the opening day, Hondo spoke about the opening day stage greeting held in Saga: "Saga Prefecture, which I've truly visited more than my own home. I have mountains of memories, but being able to hold the opening day stage greeting in Saga Prefecture feels like a miracle. I'm surprised at how much the people of Saga Prefecture have welcomed us. And I feel so warm. I love everyone so much that I could even call it my second hometown."

Following this, Tano also revealed her passionate feelings for Saga: "With all the collaborations and various information coming out, I think everyone was wondering why it wasn't in Saga, but we all did the voice recording thinking that we absolutely wanted to start the opening day in Saga."

Furthermore, regarding welcoming the opening day, Kinugawa conveyed her joy at welcoming the release in Saga Prefecture: "I was so excited that I woke up every few hours, and I walked around the streets of Saga alone from the morning. I'm happy that I can finally share information with everyone!" Regarding this new work released after four years, Kawase revealed her feelings about welcoming the opening day: "It's been a really long time since coming to Saga, yet the fact that all six of us could come on the opening day is truly a miracle. Please watch it many times! I hope you'll enjoy it a lot."
