Episode 3 of One-Punch Man Season 3 has been broadcasting sequentially since October 26th. Garō (CV: Hikaru Midorikawa), who had a child that had grown fond of him taken hostage, faced a tragic turn of events that shocked viewers.

In Episode 27, "The Limit of Living Things," which is the third episode of Season 3, Garō was engaged in an intense battle against Royal Ripper (CV: Shinnosuke Tachibana) and Bug God (CV: Takuya Nakashima). Garō had the upper hand, declaring "I've figured out your movements," but then the enemy Sludge Jellyfish (CV: Tadanori Date) appeared with Tareo (CV: Natsumi Fujiwara). Sludge Jellyfish held a personal grudge against Garō and took Tareo, who had grown fond of Garō, as a hostage.

The moment Garō showed an opening, saying "You bastard! That damn brat has nothing to do (with this)...!", he was slashed from behind by Royal Ripper. As Royal Ripper was beating Garō to his heart's content, Bug God stopped him, suggesting that Royal Ripper must have been instructed not to take Garō's life.
