The anime One-Punch Man is based on the hugely popular manga by original creator ONE and manga artist Yusuke Murata, which has surpassed 35 million copies in total series circulation. It depicts the daily life of the nonchalant strongest hero Saitama (CV: Makoto Furukawa), who defeats any enemy with "one punch," and the activities of heroes fighting against monsters. The TV anime's first season aired in 2015, and the second season in 2019.
