The anime "Let This Grieving Soul Retire!" is based on a popular light novel series by author Tsukikage and illustrator Chyko that has surpassed 2.4 million copies in circulation. It is "the strongest misunderstanding comedy fantasy" centered around Krai Andrey (CV: Kenshō Ono), who has been elevated to the leader of the strongest party, Strange Grief. The TV anime's first cour aired in 2024, and the second cour began airing in October 2025.

【Synopsis】
Krai and his companions arrive at the long-awaited hot spring town. What Krai encounters while enjoying the hot spring is a dragon leisurely soaking in the water! Meanwhile, Arnold and his group, who barely escaped from the Night Palace, also arrive in town. Having experienced firsthand the abilities of the Thousand Transformations, they reconcile with Krai, but Arnold seems to be troubled about something on his own...
