"I'm Honestly a Kaworu Fan!" Fujita Nicole Appears at the Opening Ceremony of the 30th Anniversary Exhibition "ALL OF EVANGELION"

She was particularly drawn to the Angel exhibits, saying, "Unlike the angles you see in the anime, you can see the whole picture, so I stared intently at them. Also, there are lots of buildings, and even Misato-san's house floor plan is drawn in detail," speaking from a perspective unique to fans.

Born in 1998, Fujita is from a generation that wasn't born when "Neon Genesis Evangelion" first aired, but she reflects on her first impression of the work, saying, "It was the first anime that made me fall deep into a rabbit hole, so I was shocked when I first saw it."

At the age of 14, the same age as the protagonist Shinji Ikari, she had already started working as a model, and she commented by comparing it to her own past: "At that time, I also had feelings of wanting to rebel, and when I went to greet the agency wearing red lipstick, I got scolded. I remember resisting, thinking 'Why is it not okay?!' (laughs)."

When asked by the host, "If Shinji came to you for romantic advice, what would you say?" she replied, "Kaworu Nagisa is calm and speaks in a cool way, so I think if you imitate Kaworu-kun, you'll be popular (laughs)." When the host followed up with "Nicole-san, are you a Kaworu-kun fan?" she immediately replied, "Yes, I'm honestly a Kaworu-kun fan. I also like his looks!"
