The cheerful and innocent Ruby Hoshino (CV: Yurie Igoma) has unexpectedly fallen into darkness... In the final episode of Oshi No Ko Season 2, an eerie "black star" appeared in Ruby's eyes, leaving viewers deeply unsettled.

Ruby visited Miyazaki, the place where she lived as Sarina Tendouji (CV: Tomoyo Takayanagi) before her reincarnation. There, she discovered what appeared to be the remains of Goro, also known as Goro Amamiya (CV: Kento Itou), the doctor she had harbored romantic feelings for.

Furthermore, in Episode 24, the final episode of the anime's second season, it became clear that the remains may have been attacked by someone. Ruby was told by the mysterious figure Tsukuyomi (CV: Hina Kino) that around the time Goro went missing, there were two suspicious men near the hospital. Tsukuyomi revealed that one of the suspicious individuals was the man who stabbed Ruby's mother, Ai Hoshino (CV: Rie Takahashi), but did not elaborate on the other person, instead declaring, "Isn't it your job to find that out?"

Afterwards, Ruby quietly seethed with anger, saying, "They took two important people from me and are still living without a care. I can't forgive them," and resolved to take revenge, vowing, "I'll find them no matter what it takes." At that moment, large "black stars" appeared in both of Ruby's eyes.
