"I Couldn't Stop Crying Again" – Fans Overwhelmed with Emotion as MV for "Chainsaw Man The Movie Reze Arc" is Released

On November 18th, a special MV for "JANE DOE" × "Chainsaw Man The Movie Reze Arc" was released on Kenshi Yonezu's official artist channel on YouTube, drawing attention and acclaim from fans.

"Chainsaw Man" is an anime based on a manga (written by Tatsuki Fujimoto) whose second part has been serialized on "Shonen Jump+" since July 13, 2022. The TV series aired from October to December 2022, and "Chainsaw Man The Movie Reze Arc" has been screening in theaters since September 19th.

The released music video is set to "JANE DOE," the ending theme for "Chainsaw Man The Movie Reze Arc" performed by Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada, and depicts the destiny of the protagonist Denji (CV: Kikunosuke Toya) and Reze (CV: Reina Ueda). It is a special video that includes specially re-edited cuts created specifically for this MV.

In conjunction with the MV's release, Yonezu also made an announcement on his X account saying "Douzo yoroshiku." Fans who watched the video responded with voices of praise for its high quality, such as "You can really see how perfectly it aligns with the work" and "The link with the music is incredible."

Additionally, fans who watched it in theaters shared comments reflecting on the film's content and being emotionally moved, such as "It makes me want to go see it again," "I watched it while remembering Reze's final line," and "I couldn't stop crying again."
