Although Micchi and Yoshirin's faces weren't shown, the cast was the same as in the anime "Crayon Shin-chan." Since the two don't appear in this scene in the original manga, it seemed to be a pleasant surprise for viewers. It attracted attention with comments like "There was a happy element not in the original! Micchi and Yoshirin!", "The real Micchi and Yoshirin appeared lol", "Micchi and Yoshirin appearing made my heart warm", and "Does this mean we can look forward to other original characters in the future?"

The anime "Nohara Hiroshi Hirumeshi no Ryūgi" is based on the manga by Yoichi Tsukahara, currently serialized on "Manga Crayon Shin-chan.com." It's an official spin-off of the nationally beloved gag manga "Crayon Shin-chan," depicting Hiroshi Nohara, "Shin-chan's father," as he pursues his particular tastes for lunch within his limited allowance and time.
