The anime "Chainsaw Man" is based on the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, which has surpassed 34 million copies in total circulation. The story begins when the protagonist Denji makes a contract with Pochita (CV: Shiori Izawa), the Chainsaw Devil, and is revived as "Chainsaw Man" with a devil's heart. The TV anime aired in 2022, and the theatrical film "Chainsaw Man The Movie Reze Arc," which has been in theaters since September 2025, surpassed 9.65 billion yen in box office revenue in 91 days since its release. The production of the sequel "Chainsaw Man Assassins Arc" has been announced.
