The anime Chainsaw Man is based on the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, which has surpassed 34 million copies in circulation. The story follows Denji, who after making a contract with the Chainsaw Devil, Pochita (CV: Shiori Izawa), is reborn as "Chainsaw Man" with a devil's heart. Following the TV series broadcast in 2022, the film Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, released in September 2025, has raked in over 9.65 billion yen in just 91 days. Furthermore, it has been officially announced that a sequel, Chainsaw Man Assassins Arc, is now in production.
