"The Apothecary Diaries" is an anime work based on the light novel of the same name by Hyuganatsu. It's a major hit that has been serialized as manga in two monthly magazines and a manga magazine app. The mystery drama by Maomao, who ends up working as a "poison taster" in the rear palace, and the comical exchanges between Maomao and Jinshi have gained popularity and become a big topic. The TV anime has aired up to Season 2, and Season 3 has been announced to air in two split cours starting in October 2026 and April 2027. Additionally, the series' first theatrical film is scheduled to be released in December 2026. Starting in November 2025, "The Apothecary Diaries" TV anime exhibition will tour Asian cities, and its popularity continues to grow worldwide.
