The TV anime adaptation of the manga "Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia," which has won numerous manga awards, has been confirmed to begin broadcasting in July on TV Asahi's nationwide 24-station network "IMAnimation" slot and BS Asahi. Along with this announcement, the teaser PV and teaser visual have been released for the first time, and the production staff has also been revealed.

"Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia," currently serialized by Tomato Soup in Akita Shoten's "Souffle," is a harem tale set in 13th-century Mongolia. This highly anticipated historical manga ranked first in the women's category of Takarajimasha's "Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2023" and has been ranked in the "Manga Taisho" for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024.

The released teaser PV depicts the protagonist Sitara running through the streets of 13th-century Tus, Iran, as well as the vibrant bazaar and architecture, all rendered in Science SARU's unique visual style. The animation's dynamism and beauty of color overlap, creating visuals that allow viewers to feel the atmosphere of the work's world. Additionally, the teaser visual depicts doves gracefully spreading their wings under the expansive sky, and Sitara gazing straight ahead amid flower petals dancing in the wind, foreshadowing the beginning of a grand story.

The staff includes General Director Naoko Yamada, known for "The Heike Story," the film "A Silent Voice," and the film "The Colors Within"; Director Abel Gongora, known for "DANDADAN" Season 2 and "Star Wars: Visions 'T0-B1'"; Character Designer and Chief Animation Director Kenichi Yoshida, known for "Eureka Seven" and "The Orbital Children"; and Series Composition by Kanichi Katou, known for "The Eminence in Shadow." Furthermore, Koshiro Hino, who possesses unique musicality and deep knowledge of ethnic instruments, will compose his first anime soundtrack.
