Buff Cleft-Chinned Nezuko Sends Tanjiro Into a Panic! "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" The Legendary Form from the Manga Extras Finally Animated

Could the adorable Nezuko Kamado (CV: Akari Kito) really be... jacked?! In Episode 5 of the TV anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc, the infamous "Butt-Chin Nezuko" from the original manga’s 4-panel bonus strips made her appearance. The sight left not only her brother Tanjiro (CV: Natsuki Hanae) but the entire audience in a state of pure shock.

In the bonus segment following the main credits of Episode 5, Tanjiro is seen walking through a snowy mountain within a dream. Suddenly, he hears heavy, thundering footsteps behind him. Spinning around in a panic, he is confronted by a giant version of his sister.

This version of Nezuko has transformed into a muscular powerhouse with a prominent cleft chin. She lets out a reassuring, "I’ll protect you, Big Brother!" However, Tanjiro is utterly terrified by her intense physical transformation. As she looms over him, he lets out a blood-curdling scream. Waking up in a cold sweat, Tanjiro sighs in relief, muttering, "It was just a dream... thank God." Still teary-eyed, he began stroking the real Nezuko’s chin, whimpering, "Her chin looked just like a butt...!"

"Buff Nezuko" originally appeared in the 4-panel comic titled A Reliable First Dream of the Year, included as a bonus in the original manga. Fans were delighted to see this high-impact visual brought to life in the anime, sparking a wave of hilarious reactions on social media: "Butt-chin Nezuko is finally here lol," "I can’t believe they actually animated that gag," and "The gap between this and the main story is killing me lmao."
