On January 10th, "cheering screenings" will be held in three cities: Tokyo (Shinjuku Wald 9), Osaka (T-Joy Umeda), and Fukuoka (T-Joy Hakata). This is an initiative that was well-received during the screenings of Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone and Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance, and it is a special screening where cheering, vocal reactions, encouragement, and the use of glow sticks are permitted. Tickets will go on sale at 0:00 AM on January 9th (midnight on January 8th) on each theater's sales website, and at the box office from theater opening time.
For both regular screenings and cheering screenings, a limited quantity "smartphone-size sticker" featuring the poster visual from the original theatrical release will be distributed as a visitor gift.
Furthermore, the "Evangelion" series is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025, and a major festival, "EVANGELION 30+; 30th ANIVERSARY OF EVANGELION," is scheduled to be held at Yokohama Arena from February 21st to 23rd, 2026.
