The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed 150 million copies in cumulative circulation. The story begins when Yuji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki), who ends up sharing his body with the King of Curses "Ryomen Sukuna," transfers to "Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School," a specialized institution for combating curses.
Following advance theatrical screenings, TV anime Season 3 "Culling Game: Part 1" started broadcasting in January 2026. Additionally, since September 2025, the spin-off "Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo)" with original story by Akutami and artwork by Yuji Iwasaki has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha).
