In Episode 50 "About the Culling Game," it was revealed that Tengen (CV: Yoshiko Sakakibara) possesses the "back" of the Prison Realm in which Gojo is sealed. Tengen told Yuji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki) and the others that while the authority to open it belongs to Kenjaku, the owner of the "front," they could force open the Prison Realm and save Gojo if they had either the "Inverted Spear of Heaven," which forcibly cancels all cursed techniques, or the "Black Rope," which disrupts and negates all cursed technique effects. Just when it seemed the path to rescuing Gojo had finally appeared, Tengen continued, "However, Satoru Gojo sealed or destroyed the Inverted Spear of Heaven overseas 12 years ago" and "Satoru Gojo also eliminated all the Black Rope last year."
