——Following the costumes, I'd like to ask about your own appeal points. What part would you like people to "look at here!"?

Nonaka: It might be my eyes, after all. I'm good at expressing emotions with my eyes, and it's with these eyes that I was able to unconsciously express something like "my true self while also reaching higher." Like the shot where I'm teasing the kid in the seat in front in the classroom, I'm conveying emotions with my eyes. So I'd like everyone to pick up the photobook and look at it close to themselves.

——This might be a bit premature, but if you were to create a second photobook in the future, what would you like it to be like?

Nonaka: Let's see... I'd like to try a winter shoot. I like summer, but I also like winter. Winter girls burying their faces in mufflers while their noses are bright red, that kind of thing is nice, right? Voice actress Nozomi Suzuhara, whom I'm good friends with, recently released photos taken in winter (※), and they were so cute. Seeing that, I felt that a winter photobook would be nice too.

Also, this time it was a horse, but I think a photobook where I'm interacting with creatures like cats and dogs, something that feels more familiar, would be nice.

——Cats... would be incomparably more difficult than horses (lol).

Nonaka: No, but since there are many cats in Nagasaki, I'll get used to them now! When I return to my family home, I'll deepen my interactions with the kitties!

——Then finally, please give a message to the fans waiting for the photobook.

Nonaka: I think everyone was surprised too, but I'm releasing my first photobook. For me, regarding photobooks, more than admiration, I had a very strong impression that they were something out of reach. I saw a lot of news of famous actresses I saw on TV saying "releasing a photobook," so rather than "someday I will too," I had feelings of respect like "people who release photobooks are really amazing."

And this time, I was able to create one book with me in my final summer as a teenager. Probably there's a me that you've never seen before, and conversely there's also a me that's familiar and that I like, so I think there's definitely at least one shot of "your ideal Kokona Nonaka."

Also, I think the charm of Nagasaki comes through really well even just from this photobook.
