The second season of the TV anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End premiered on January 16th during Nippon TV's "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT" slot. To mark the premiere, the creditless opening (OP) and ending (ED) sequences have been released on YouTube.
The OP theme features Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s new song, "lulu." The sequence emotionally depicts Frieren’s past journey with Himmel and his party, as well as her new travels with Fern and Stark, all set to a grand and sweeping melody.
The ED theme is "The Story of Us" by milet, who returns from the first season. The video was directed by creator Mimei Oume, renowned for her colored-pencil style animation. It opens with a depiction of Himmel writing in a journal, leading into a vibrant and ethereal animation of Frieren on her journey.
