[Photos/Images] "Truly Tear-Jerking" Anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" Episode 30, The Aftermath of "The Strongest Human" That Even Foresight Couldn't See 1st

Episode 30 of the anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" aired on January 23rd. It depicted the heartwarming conclusion of the Hero of the South (CV: Kazuhiko Inoue), which couldn't be predicted even with foresight, and responses such as "what a good story" and "truly tear-jerking..." were shared online.

In Episode 30, "Hero of the South," Frieren (CV: Atsumi Tanezaki) and her companions received a request to polish a hero's statue. However, the statue depicted a figure who was not Himmel (CV: Nobuhiko Okamoto), which confused Stark (CV: Chiaki Kobayashi).

Frieren then explained that it was a statue of the Hero of the South. She recounted that he once confronted Schlacht, the Demon King's confidant, and the assembled Seven Sages of Destruction, taking down three of the Seven Sages but ultimately dying in mutual defeat with Schlacht.

Afterward, Frieren recalled the past. In fact, before Frieren met Himmel, the Hero of the South had come to see her. The Hero of the South revealed that the reason he was the strongest human was because he could see the future, and told her that in one year, he would be killed by Schlacht and his allies.

Even so, the Hero of the South showed no signs of lamenting the future, saying that a young hero who would save the world would soon appear before Frieren, and asked her to relay a message: "When you meet that young man, tell him this. I will definitely pave the way. I, the Hero of the South, the strongest of humanity." And the Hero of the South left, saying, "Even if my great deeds are buried in the shadows of history."
