The "Jujutsu Kaisen" anime is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed 150 million copies in circulation. The story begins when Yuji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki), who ends up sharing his body with Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, transfers to the "Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical High School." The original manga concluded in 2024, and since September 2025, the spin-off "Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo)"—written by Akutami and illustrated by Yuji Iwasaki—has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha).

[Synopsis]
The group begins moving toward their respective roles to suppress the "Culling Game." Among them, Maki heads to the Zen'in estate to retrieve cursed tools to bolster their fighting force for the game. Ignoring the verbal abuse from Naoya and her mother's attempts to stop her, Maki heads for the cursed warehouse. When she opens the doors, instead of the tools she expected, she finds a bloodied Mai and her father, Ogi Zen'in—.
