The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed 150 million copies in total circulation. The story begins when Itadori, who ends up sharing his body with the King of Curses "Ryomen Sukuna," enrolls at the anti-curse specialized institution "Tokyo Jujutsu High School." The original manga concluded in 2024, and since September 2025, the spin-off "Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo)" by original creator Akutami and artist Yuji Iwasaki has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha).
