[Photos/Images] Even Hero Himmel Couldn't Stand It! "Bawling Frieren" Gets Major Expansion in Anime "The destructive power increased with voice added lol" 1st

Episode 31 of the anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" aired on January 30th. The scene of Frieren (CV: Atsumi Tanezaki) throwing a tantrum and crying was depicted at much greater length in the anime, hitting viewers' funny bones with comments like "It really did last three days and three nights lol" and "Too much Tanezaki theater."

In Episode 31 "A Favorite Place," there's a scene where Stark (CV: Chiaki Kobayashi) once again says something insensitive to Frieren. When Frieren warns him "There won't be a third time," Stark asks, "By the way, what happens on the third time?" Frieren responds with a smug look, saying, "I'll cry and wail. I'm scary when I throw a tantrum. Even Hero Himmel was frightened."

In the original manga, there was only one panel depicting Frieren crying in the past during this scene, but the anime greatly expanded on it. The footage shows three days and three nights passing, during which Frieren goes completely wild, rolling around on the floor and hanging from furniture. Adding to this, voice actress Atsumi Tanezaki's full-force crying performance layered on top makes it an impactful finish that fully justifies Himmel's (CV: Nobuhiko Okamoto) bewildered "That's scary" response.

Online users were swept up in waves of laughter at Frieren's tantrum, which showed zero dignity despite her having lived for so long, with comments like "It really did last three days and three nights lol," "She's like a child," "Too much Tanezaki theater lol," and "The destructive power increased when voice was added lol."
