Based on the manga created by Masamune Shirow in 1989, the Ghost in the Shell anime series continues to expand globally to this day, including Mamoru Oshii’s 1995 masterpiece GHOST IN THE SHELL.
The "Ghost and the Shell" exhibition is currently held at TOKYO NODE in Toranomon Hills until Sunday, April 5, 2026. This exhibition brings together over 1,600 production materials from the entire history of the Ghost in the Shell anime series. Visitors can experience a glimpse into the "Cyberbrain" world—which continues to inspire creators across the globe—through a series of uniquely curated and immersive displays.
