The TV anime adaptation of the hit series "The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a New Life", which has surpassed 1.3 million copies in total circulation and trends on social media with every update, has been confirmed. The animation production will be handled by P.A.WORKS, known for works such as "SHIROBAKO" and "Ya Boy Kongming!"

This work is a manga series currently serialized in Kodansha's "Tsuki Maga Kichi" (Original story: Asa Rokushima, Manga: Gyomu-yo Mochi, Character design: kisui). It has undergone such a unique and chaotic evolution that it's said "the content differs by about 99 percent" between the original novel version and the manga version, and its unique blend of a world where magic and science coexist, distinctive gags, and deeply layered human drama has created passionate fans.

In conjunction with the anime adaptation announcement, the "Super Teaser Visual" and "Super Teaser PV" have been released. In the visual depicted with P.A.WORKS' signature visual beauty, you can see the protagonist Rain and Lily, as well as the dog familiar to fans called "Donguri."

Additionally, celebratory comments and illustrations from the original creative team have arrived. Gyomu-yo Mochi, who handles the manga, revealed the high level of enthusiasm at the production site in their comment, saying "I was surprised to learn that there are people who joined P.A.WORKS because they wanted to work on this anime," and gave their stamp of approval, stating "I promise this anime will not betray the expectations of such people."
