The anime "You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!" is based on the manga of the same name by Shinya Misu. It's a love triangle romcom centered around Yonosuke Sakai (nicknamed "Eiyū"), Shio Minamo, Akari Hiodoshi, and their trio of childhood friends.

【Synopsis】
Final exams are over, and both Shio and Akari's minds have already flown to summer vacation.
However, Eiyū alone returns home from school with a serious expression.
