It has been decided that the anime 'Dorohedoro Season 2' will begin streaming on various platforms worldwide almost simultaneously starting Wednesday, April 1st. To coincide with this, a newly drawn key visual by character designer Tomohiro Kishi has been released.

This work, based on the manga by Q Hayashida, was long said to be impossible to adapt into video form, but was turned into a TV anime in 2020. It garnered attention for its one-of-a-kind chaotic worldview and visual beauty. For Season 2, the first sequel in 6 years, the partnership of director Yuichiro Hayashi and production studio MAPPA continues.

The released key visual depicts the protagonist Caiman, Nikaidō, the En family, as well as the "Cross-Eyes" characters who hold important keys to Season 2's story, creating a finish that hints at turbulent developments to come.

Wataru Takagi, who voices Caiman, commented: "On the first day of recording, I got excited while thinking back on various things! Everyone's unchanged. They're still strange people in some way (lol)." Reina Kondo, who voices Nikaidō, also expressed her passionate feelings, saying: "There were too many unmissable scenes, and I got so absorbed in watching that one episode ended in the blink of an eye."

Additionally, prior to the Season 2 streaming, an expanded distribution of Season 1 will also begin on various platforms starting Sunday, March 8th.
