The original work is a manga of the same name serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday." Set in a world after the defeat of the Demon King, the story depicts the journey of Frieren (CV. Atsumi Tanezaki), a mage who has lived for over a thousand years, as she embarks on a "journey to understand people" following the death of the hero Himmel (CV. Nobuhiko Okamoto). Season 2 of the anime began broadcasting on Nippon Television Network every Friday at 11:00 PM starting January 16th. On ABEMA, it is available for free streaming from midnight on the same day.
