Fern and Stark Struck by Blown Kiss, "Too Sexy" Fan Art for 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End' Sparks Reaction

The official X account for 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End' has published a support illustration by Takahiro Kato, the creator of the manga 'Psycho Eyes', and it has become a hot topic.

The published image is based on the "blown kiss" scene depicted in anime episode 13. The flash of light from a heart-shaped magic circle released by a giant Frieren floating in the sky rains down to the ground like an extremely thick beam. The beam forcefully pierces through the chests of Fern and Stark, and in the lower left of the screen, a distinctive comment reading "Too sexy..." is prominently displayed in red text.

'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End' is based on the manga by Kanehito Yamada (original story) and Tsukasa Abe (artwork), which is currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday." The story follows Frieren, an elf mage who was part of the hero's party that defeated the Demon King, as she embarks on a "journey to understand people" triggered by the death of the hero Himmel. The series depicts human drama from the perspective of an elf who has lived for over a thousand years, as well as her travels with new companions including her apprentice Fern and the warrior Stark.
