First, Ono compared "Shimazaki in the Land of Peace," which depicts a former operative living a peaceful daily life in Japan, to "egg," passionately arguing that "the more you chew, the more the flavor seeps in," connecting it to the protagonist's background.

Taniyama compared "Please Save My Earth," a masterpiece love fantasy that has also been animated, to "hanpen," saying, "It's a work where emotions seep in like hanpen."

Hanae compared "Alice, Doko Made mo," which depicts the encounter between a girl struggling with language and difficulty living and a genius boy, to "roll cabbage," emphasizing, "It doesn't work with just one or the other. These two were meant to meet." Applause naturally arose in the studio for the three who successfully compared their works to oden ingredients.

In the second round, a development occurred where all three presented manga they compared to "mochi kinchaku." Ono mentioned "Ohten no Mon," a historical mystery set in the Heian period that solves strange occurrences and incidents using knowledge from that era, commenting, "You don't know what's inside a kinchaku, right? You can read it with excitement wondering 'what is this incident about.'" To Ono forcibly comparing the structure of gradually revealing the truth of incidents to kinchaku, Taniyama retorted, "Is kinchaku somehow convenient for making metaphors?" while nodding, "That's true."

And such Taniyama selected "Tower Dungeon," a full-fledged dungeon fantasy, praising its perfection saying, "Among the many dungeon works, such a full-fledged dungeon fantasy is rare" and "I think it's about the best masterpiece in recent years." Ono and Hanae also revealed they were fans of the work, and the three shared the appeal of the work together.

Meanwhile, Hanae selected "Zatch Bell!! 2," the long-awaited sequel to that masterpiece loved by many readers, which depicts the battle to determine the king of demons, commenting, "'Zatch Bell!!' is my youth." Along with his attachment to the previous work, he emphasized the unique appeal of the sequel, saying, "In 2, past characters from throughout the series reappear. The sense of security of knowing 'Oh, it's Gash. It's definitely interesting' and the excitement of 2 are like kinchaku."

Even with the same mochi kinchaku, the "flavor" was different for each of the three. Voices of agreement arose saying "I see!" and "That makes sense!" to the three's comparisons filled with love for the works.

After that, various oden ingredients such as daikon, beef tendon, and cheese chikuwa appeared. Masterpieces were mentioned one after another, such as "Kounodori," which Hanae said he started reading when his wife became pregnant with twins, and "Imuri," about which Taniyama passionately spoke saying, "Everything from Ranjou Miyake-sensei, the eccentric female writer I respect, is packed in here," and the talk heated up.

In the midst of this, there were also moments of probing questions like "Why is that roll cabbage and not kinchaku?" The studio was enveloped in laughter at the three who were flustered saying, "Don't press me!" and "This is already too difficult!"

And so the unique manga talk ended. In the ending, Taniyama said with a laugh, "That was busy," and then said, "Precisely because I love manga, I'd be happy if various appealing manga continue to be adapted into anime," and Ono also commented, "This was an episode where Kisho-san's manga love really came through." It was 90 minutes overflowing with the three's love for manga.
