ABEMA Anime’s official X account has announced the top 3 most commented scenes from the broadcast of the new winter anime You and I Are Polar Opposites Episode 5, titled "The Thinker and the Non-Thinker."

Based on the rom-com manga by Agasawa Tea, serialized on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+, You and I Are Polar Opposites follows the story of two "polar opposites": Suzuki, an energetic girl who is secretly overly conscious of how others see her, and Tani, a quiet boy who isn't afraid to speak his mind. The series portrays their journey as they deepen their bond through mutual understanding and respect, alongside the daily school lives of their circle of friends.

Gaining widespread support as a "relatable rom-com" that resonates with the delicate emotions unique to adolescence, the series has become a hot topic, winning Best Manga at the 4th Magademy Awards and appearing on numerous other award shortlists. Fans are now eagerly watching its first-ever anime adaptation, which began airing in January 2026.
