A blockbuster success stage greeting for "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea" was held on Tuesday, March 10th at Shinjuku Piccadilly. The film has surpassed a cumulative audience of 400,000 people and box office revenue of 540 million yen in the 11 days since its release on Friday, February 27th.

The stage greeting featured Miho Okasaki as the protagonist Rimuru Tempest, Megumi Toyoguchi as Raphael, Tomoaki Maeno as Veldora Tempest, and Koichi Domoto as Zodon, who shared behind-the-scenes voice recording stories unique to the post-release period and engaged in discussions about new beginnings in life.

Amidst the excitement following the screening, the cast members took the stage at the MC's invitation and greeted the audience individually. When asked about the response from those around her one week after the release, Okasaki, who voices Rimuru, reflected with deep emotion: "Those who were looking forward to it went to see it right after the release, and I was happy to receive their feedback. There were comments saying 'This is a TenSura like never before,' and the ending hints at Season 4, so I think they enjoyed both the original story and the usual TenSura." Toyoguchi, voicing Raphael and attending her first stage greeting for this film, revealed her feelings leading up to the release: "Before the release, there was a large Slime Rimuru decoration at this theater, and I thought, 'It's finally being released.'"

Maeno, who voices Veldora, elicited laughter from the audience while commenting, "I think romantic depictions are rare in TenSura, so I hope you enjoy that aspect as well. But, of course, there were opinions that Veldora didn't stand out much..." He continued with a satisfied expression: "I was able to take on a new challenge with Veldora during the voice recording, and I'm delighted that so many people are able to see it." Domoto, who voices Zodon, drew more laughter with his joke: "I had no idea that Season 4 would cover all the stories before Zodon..."
