The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed 150 million copies in cumulative circulation. The story begins when Yūji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki) ends up sharing his body with the King of Curses "Ryomen Sukuna" and enrolls at the anti-curse specialized institution "Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School." The original manga concluded in 2024. Starting in September 2025, the spin-off "Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo)" by original creator Akutami and artist Yuji Iwasaki began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) and reached its final chapter on March 9, 2026.

Fushiguro, deceived by Remi, is brought not to Higuruma but to Reggie and other sorcerers from the past. When negotiations break down after he demands they hand over points to add a new rule, he finds himself in combat against three opponents including Hari and Hazenoki. While struggling in a 3-on-1 battle, Kogane announces that a rule allowing point transfers to other players has been added. Upon hearing this, Fushiguro resolves himself and begins his counterattack――.
