The leader of "ITEM," one of Academy City's Dark Side organizations. She is Academy City's fourth-ranked Level 5 Esper, with the ability "Meltdowner," which forcibly fixes electrons in an ambiguous state between particle and waveform and manipulates them. In "ITEM," she is responsible for strategic planning while serving as the vanguard utilizing her overwhelming firepower. Her personality is self-centered and surprisingly short-tempered. While she usually appears to be a caring and composed older-sister type, she is also the successor to a gang organization called "Mugino Honke" and doesn't care about laws or morals when solving problems. She's an athletically gifted battle freak, but is at an age where she wants to achieve adult body sculpting through dietary improvements. Her favorite food is salmon bento, and she prefers rice over wheat.

The search specialist belonging to "ITEM." Her ability is "AIM Stalker," which can record, search, and track targets' AIM diffusion fields, with a strength of Level 4. Utilizing this ability, she is responsible for tracking and searching for targets, making her both the key and trump card of operations.
Her personality is gentle and reserved. She often spaces out as if receiving radio waves, giving a calming impression uncharacteristic of a Dark Side organization, making her a healing presence. The reason she spaces out is because she's engaged in her hobby of "AIM diffusion field bathing." Her figure is as glamorous as Mugino's, but this isn't readily apparent because she constantly wears a pink jersey.

A blonde, blue-eyed girl belonging to "ITEM." A Level 0 esper. She serves as the vanguard in missions. She is the only member of "ITEM" who fights without using abilities, specializing in hand-to-hand combat utilizing her superior physical abilities, and particularly excelling at traps using explosives.
Her personality is optimistic and carefree. She possesses the sociability to make friends as easily as breathing, with an astonishingly wide network of acquaintances. She's a mood maker at best, and inappropriate at worst, which manifests even during life-or-death battles. However, she has the rare personality to casually get close to the unstable Mugino without hesitation, and sometimes shows a kind-hearted side toward her comrades. Her favorite food is canned mackerel. She has a younger sister named Fremea.

A newcomer who ended up belonging to "ITEM" through super lucky circumstances. She is a Level 4 esper with the ability "Offense Armor," which freely manipulates nitrogen in the air. Utilizing this ability, she has been assigned the role of shield for "ITEM," which was lacking in defense. Her personality is relatively normal within "ITEM." She was a test subject for a certain ability development program, but since the project itself was discontinued, she currently has no place to return to. However, she thinks anywhere is fine as long as food, clothing, and shelter are secured, so she's not very motivated. While she's caring and considerate, she also shows a lonely side. She's a maniac for shady B-grade and C-grade movies, and is simply a weirdo in a different direction from the other members.

A girl who ended up belonging to "ITEM" through the introduction of an intermediary called "The Voice on the Phone." A Level 0 esper with unknown abilities. She excels at disguise, possessing skills that cannot be explained by "drama club membership" alone—copying appearance, gestures, habits, speech patterns, voice, and even body odor regardless of gender or age, and synchronizing every element including fingerprints, dental impressions, eyeballs, and blood type. With this skill, which has received the Dark Side's stamp of approval as premium talent, she is an infiltration specialist who can neutralize even the strictest security.
Her personality is serious and timid. She's constantly nervous, and her appearance is described as a small-animal-type girl like a soaking wet Chihuahua. As can be understood from becoming the "fifth member" of "ITEM," she has miraculously and fatally bad timing in everything, and is cursed with misfortune that often forces her into isolation.
