YAIBA Samurai Legend Season 2 "Kaguya Arc" Production Confirmed! Teaser Visual Released Featuring Tearful Sayaka, Manaka Iwami: "She Will Fall Into Great Danger"

The production of Season 2 "Kaguya Arc" of the TV anime YAIBA Samurai Legend has been confirmed, and the teaser visual and special footage have been released.

This information was announced at the "AnimeJapan 2026" ShoPro booth stage event "YAIBA Samurai Legend Season 2 Kaguya Arc Production Confirmed! Special Stage" held on March 28.

YAIBA Samurai Legend is based on the popular manga YAIBA, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday from 1988 by Gosho Aoyama, known for works such as Detective Conan. Season 1 of the TV anime aired in 2025.

The released teaser visual for "Season 2 Kaguya Arc" depicts Sayaka shedding large tears while gazing at Yaiba on the ground, and Yaiba desperately rushing toward her with the gleaming Ryujinken in hand, trying to save Sayaka as she is being taken away. The visual captures the moment of imminent danger closing in on Sayaka, dramatically raising expectations for the new arc.

Furthermore, special footage packed with highlights from Season 1 has also been released. Viewers can revisit memorable scenes that colored the story all at once, including emotional moments during the Dragon God's trials, fierce battles with his arch-nemesis Onimaru, and the appearances of Kaguya and Tsukikage.
