YAIBA Samurai Legend Season 2 "Kaguya Arc" Production Confirmed! Teaser Visual Released Featuring Tearful Sayaka, Manaka Iwami: "She Will Fall Into Great Danger"

The special stage held today featured appearances by Director Takahiro Hasui, Yoshimichi Kameda (Character Design/Chief Animation Director), and Manaka Iwami, who voices Mine Sayaka.

Before the stage began, Conan-kun from Detective Conan and Yaiba-kun from YAIBA Samurai Legend appeared together, and the collaboration between these popular characters brought the venue's excitement to its peak.

In the talk segment, a corner called "This is Wild!" was held, where each guest selected and reflected on memorable scenes from all 24 episodes of Season 1. Regarding voice recording with Minami Takayama, who voices Yaiba, Iwami passionately expressed, "I was able to record while feeling the power of Takayama-san's performance."

Regarding the newly released teaser visual for Season 2, Kameda explained, "By deliberately hiding Yaiba's expression, we want you to imagine what kind of situation or emotions he's experiencing. The shadowy figure above Sayaka is also a key point!"

Regarding the new key characters in Season 2, Director Hasui described Kaguya (CV: Ami Koshimizu) as "We emphasized her elegant atmosphere and asked her to perform with composure," and Tsukikage (CV: Koki Uchiyama) as "A character with many hardships, as he has various interactions with the characters appearing from Season 2."

Regarding Season 2's highlights, Iwami stated, "Sayaka will fall into great danger. I'm looking forward to seeing how Kaguya and Tsukikage will be involved," while Kameda commented, "The scale will become even larger, and the battles will be depicted more dynamically." Director Hasui also revealed, "The Kaguya Arc will depict the relationship between Yaiba and Sayaka as one milestone in the story," further raising fans' anticipation.

Finally, each guest expressed their gratitude to the fans and enthusiasm for Season 2, and the stage closed with great success while wrapped in excitement.
