Based on the "The Eminence in Shadow" series, which has surpassed 7.8 million copies in total circulation and spans light novels, manga adaptations, and spin-offs, the first season of the TV anime premiered in October 2022. Since then, the franchise has expanded into a second season and an online game, earning high acclaim among anime fans both in Japan and overseas.

As the series' first theatrical film, "Lost Echoes" is set in "Japan," the world where the protagonist Cid lived before his reincarnation.
A reunion with a woman who knew Cid’s past life, a world transformed by a beast invasion, and the human conspiracies swirling within.
Shadow descends upon a chaotic and desolate Japan in this "overpowered protagonist x overwhelming chuunibyou x misunderstood serious comedy" unfolding on the largest scale in series history.
