[Photos/Images] Genau Takes Top Spot in 3rd "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" Popularity Poll; "A Chuunibyou Character in First?" and "Genau’s Amazing for Ending Himmel’s Streak!" Spark Huge Reaction 1st

The results of the third character popularity poll were announced on the official X account for the "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" manga, garnering significant attention.

According to the overall results, Genau (voiced by Tarusuke Shingaki) emerged as the winner, recording an overwhelming 1,396,535 votes. He was followed by Himmel (voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto) in second place with 1,327,500 votes, and Aura the Guillotine (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu) ranked third with 1,020,761 votes. The image attached to the post features a manga panel showing Genau with his right arm against his face, casting his spell "Digaado Naht" (Magic that Manipulates Wings of Black Iron), while countless black feathers swirl behind him as he stands quietly.

In the "One Vote Per Character Per Person" results announced later, the total vote count was 796,433. In this ranking, Frieren (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki) took first place, followed by Himmel in second and Stark (voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi) in third. Genau, who was first in the overall poll, finished in seventh place.

"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is a fantasy manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. Set in a world after the Hero's party has defeated the Demon King, the story follows Frieren, a long-lived elf mage, as she embarks on a "journey to understand people" following the death of her former comrade, the Hero Himmel. It is currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday and has gained massive popularity, becoming a social phenomenon with its television anime adaptation.
