"Thank you, Q Hayashida-sensei!" Anime "Dorohedoro" Season 2, original creator's commemorative illustration for streaming release becomes a hot topic

An illustration by original creator Q Hayashida, announcing the April 1st streaming launch of Season 2, has been released from the official X account of the anime "Dorohedoro" and has become a hot topic.

The released illustration depicts Caiman (CV: Wataru Takagi) wearing a mask and dressed in a black coat, and Dokuga (CV: Kōki Uchiyama) wearing white hooded clothing with numerous small pouches hanging from his waist. Caiman is making a peace sign, while Dokuga is striking a pose with his palm facing upward. At the top of the illustration, a handwritten message reads "Watch Anime Dorohedoro 2!", and at the bottom, Hayashida's signature and the year "2026" can be confirmed.

In response to this post, fans have expressed their joy with comments such as "Q Hayashida-sensei's illustration is here!", "Thank you, Q Hayashida-sensei!", and "So cool!", while many others have voiced their anticipation for the anime "Dorohedoro" Season 2 with comments like "I'll definitely watch it" and "I'm looking forward to it!"

"Dorohedoro", serialized by Q Hayashida for 18 years starting in 2000, has passionate fans both domestically and internationally due to its one-of-a-kind worldview and shocking yet chaotic content. Though this work was said to be impossible to adapt into visual media, it was made into a TV anime in 2020. After approximately 6 years, the long-awaited sequel is now launching as a streaming series.
