[Photos/Images] "Hokuto no Ken -Fist of the North Star-" Uncensored Prime Video vs. Mild TV Broadcast Comparison Video Released 1st

As part of the latest updates for the anime "Hokuto no Ken -Fist of the North Star-," a comparison video showcasing the "Uncensored (Streaming) ver." and the "Mild (Broadcast) ver." has been released. Additionally, it has been confirmed that free catch-up streaming will be available on TVer starting one week after the initial broadcast.

"Fist of the North Star" is a legendary action manga created by writer Buronson and artist Tetsuo Hara. Since its first TV anime adaptation in 1984, it has continued to be beloved by fans both in Japan and overseas through various media expansions. With a total circulation exceeding 100 million copies, it has truly become a landmark in the world of action manga.

Now, in 2026, the series returns as "Hokuto no Ken -Fist of the North Star-," utilizing new staff, a new cast, and the latest animation technology to fully capture the charm of the original work. The battles of the men living through the end of the century will carve a new legend into the Reiwa era. The series is scheduled to begin its broadcast and streaming on April 10.

This production features different visual directions for the Prime Video streaming version and the TV broadcast version. The "Uncensored ver." on Prime Video depicts violent and grotesque elements as they were intended, allowing viewers to experience the world of the work more deeply. On the other hand, the "Mild ver." for TV broadcast is designed for all ages to view. Ahead of the premiere, a comparison video has been released so fans can check the differences between these two versions.

Furthermore, the catch-up streaming service TVer will provide free access to episodes one week after their initial broadcast and streaming. Please note that TVer will distribute the same "Mild ver." used for the TV broadcast.
