The nominees for the 10th annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026 have been announced. Voting for this year's awards is being accepted once per day until April 16 at 3:59 PM (JST) via the official website, Crunchyroll, and MyAnimeList.
To be eligible, at least one episode of the work must have been broadcast, streamed, or theatrically released in Japan between January 1 and December 31, 2025, and at least one episode must have been streamed or theatrically released outside of Japan. Details can be found on the official website.
In conjunction with the nominee announcement, Crunchyroll President Rahul Purani commented: "The Crunchyroll Anime Awards is a global celebration of anime where fans around the world offer their love and gratitude to the creators who brought these works to life. This year, nearly 50 works from the 2025 anime season have been nominated. As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been nominated over the past decade—including over 110 anime studios, nearly 290 TV anime and theatrical films, and more than 220 voice actors—as well as everyone involved in creating the best anime."
Additionally, the presenters for the award ceremony, to be held at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo on Saturday, May 23 at 6:00 PM, and the pre-show starting at 5:00 PM, have been revealed. The ceremony and pre-show will be live-streamed globally.
Sony Group CEO Hiroki Totoki will deliver the opening remarks at the ceremony, which will be hosted by Sally Amaki and Jon Kabira.
