The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime is based on the manga of the same name by Koyoharu Gotoge. Set in Taisho-era Japan, this dark fantasy tells the story of Tanjiro, a young boy whose family is slaughtered by demons. To turn his sister Nezuko—who has been transformed into a demon—back into a human, he joins the Demon Slayer Corps, an organization dedicated to hunting demons, and throws himself into a harsh battle alongside his comrades.
It has been announced that the latest film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle - Chapter 1: The Return of Akaza, will end its theatrical run today, April 9, except in select theaters. Additionally, a full rebroadcast of the TV series began on April 5.
