Voice Actors Junya Enoki and Takahiro Sakurai Appear at USJ "Jujutsu Kaisen" Event! Rave Reviews for the "Super-Realistic" Attraction Experience

On Sunday, April 4, the "Jujutsu Kaisen Special Talk Event" was held at Universal Studios Japan. Junya Enoki, the voice of Yūji Itadori, and Takahiro Sakurai, the voice of Suguru Geto / Kenjaku, made an appearance. Along with 140 specially invited fans, they experienced the attraction "Jujutsu Kaisen: The Real 4-D — The Revolving Clock Tower," where they could experience "Cursed Energy" throughout their bodies in a super-realistic way.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the incredibly popular manga by Gege Akutami, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha). The story follows the protagonist, Yūji Itadori, who eats a special-grade cursed object—the "finger of Ryomen Sukuna"—and hosts a curse within his own soul, throwing him into a harsh battle between jujutsu sorcerers and cursed spirits.

The series has gained massive popularity for its deep world-building, severe storyline, and powerful battle scenes, with over 150 million copies in circulation. TV anime seasons aired in October 2020 and July 2023. Additionally, in December 2021, the series' first film, "Jujutsu Kaisen 0," which depicts the prequel to the main story, was released, becoming a massive hit with a worldwide box office gross of 26.5 billion yen and over 20.51 million tickets sold globally. Starting in January 2026, the broadcast of Season 3, "Culling Game — Part 1," began.

Regarding the various "super-realistic" experiences of "Jujutsu Kaisen" realized in "Universal Cool Japan 2026," Enoki said about "Hollywood Dream — The Ride": "It was incredibly powerful! Itadori talked to me, saying 'I ate takoyaki!', and I thought, 'I just ate bread too! We're on the same page!' — and the next thing I knew, I was dropping (lol). After the ride, I felt so bright and positive; that's exactly what 'NO LIMIT!' is all about." Sakurai added with satisfaction: "It was even more amazing than I imagined...! The sense of speed was so intense that I only caught about a quarter of the story; the rest of the time, I was just screaming. I want to ride it again! It felt so good!"

Around 11:30 AM on April 5, approximately 140 fans chosen by lottery gathered at the venue. Amidst rising expectations and excitement, Junya Enoki (Yūji Itadori) and Takahiro Sakurai (Suguru Geto / Kenjaku) appeared, and the venue was instantly filled with cheers and applause.

The two experienced the attraction along with the fans. The fans in the venue fought against cursed spirits alongside Itadori and Geto, who jumped out from the screen, becoming completely immersed in the world of "Jujutsu Kaisen." Enoki and Sakurai also joined the battle, and as everyone became intoxicated by this unique space, the venue's excitement reached its peak.
