The "Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-" anime series is based on the popular novels from MF Bunko J (Original work: Tappei Nagatsuki / Illustration: Shinichirou Otsuka). It is a dark fantasy where Subaru, who is suddenly transported to another world, faces a harsh fate using his "Return by Death" ability to rewind time after dying.
The first season aired in 2016, becoming a massive hit that led to a second season and OVAs. The third season was broadcast in two parts: the "Attack Arc" in 2024 and the "Counterattack Arc" in 2025.

Subaru and his friends managed to repel the attack by the Archbishops of the Witch Cult, but the cost was high—people’s forms were changed by "Lust," and names and memories were stolen by "Gluttony." While searching for a clue to resolve the current situation, they decide to head to the Pleiades Watchtower, home of the "Sage" Shaula, one of the Three Heroes of Lugunica, following a proposal from Anastasia. Meanwhile, Garfiel, who remained in Pristella for medical treatment, visits the home of his mother, Reala, who has lost her memories, together with Mimi.
