■ Fukunishi Sobs During Morikubo’s “Genuine Lecture”! The Love-Filled Prank is a Huge Success
Near the end of the program, as it transitioned into a moving corner where Fukunishi was to read a “Letter to Both of You” expressing his gratitude... a prank titled “Mā-kun is Kind Even Behind the Scenes” was launched, with Morikubo and Okamoto acting as the perpetrators. A staged trouble occurred where the program staff “lost” Fukunishi’s important letter, causing Morikubo to start shouting in a genuinely furious tone, “I told you that’s no good, you idiot!” and “Find it during the meeting, hurry up!”
As Fukunishi hovered nervously, trying to protect the staff in the suddenly hostile atmosphere, the “Mā-kun Graduation Song”—filled with words of love and appreciation—suddenly began to play in the studio, revealing the prank. Realizing the grand foreshadowing—that the staff had been playing “clumsy” for an entire year just for this moment—and feeling relief from the intense tension, Fukunishi burst into tears, hugging the staff while crying out, “Stop messing with me! Seriously, this is the worst!” (lol).
■ “Nobu-san is an ‘Iron Man of Love’,” “Morikubo-san is the ‘Power Behind the Scenes’” — An Emotional Letter from Fukunishi
After the prank, the reading of the letter, which had been “safely found,” began. Addressing Okamoto, Fukunishi expressed his gratitude through tears, saying, “No matter how busy you are, your consideration for others never wavers. Nobu-san, you are an ‘Iron Man of Love,’” and “I was truly happy to work with you.”
He continued with a passionate resolution: “Now that the program is ending, I have no choice but to go see you through my work. One day, I want to move you with my core acting skills enough to make that iron heart of yours waver.” He concluded by joking, “You’re turning 40 this year, so please take more breaks and live a long life,” which drew laughter from the studio.
To Morikubo, who had recommended him for the program, Fukunishi apologized for his “wild behavior” and eccentricities but confessed his deep respect: “I want to be like you—an unsung hero who can both stir things up and bring stability.” He added, “I want to follow in your footsteps as a Cilantro Star Voice Actor Apprentice.” Finally, he sent a message of thanks to the viewers for “accepting and enjoying my eccentricities.” Morikubo and Okamoto responded with warm words: “Come back anytime, we’ll be waiting! You’re family!” closing out this season’s Saturday slot on a high note.
“Say You To Yo Asobi 2026” will begin on Monday, April 20. The new MCs will be announced one by one in a quiz format on the program’s official X account starting Monday, April 13. Furthermore, the MC pairings and other details will be revealed during the live broadcast on the premiere day.
