A partnership agreement has been signed between the City of Yokohama and "Detective Conan: Highway no Datenshi" Movie, which opened in theaters nationwide on Friday, April 10. A series of collaborative initiatives centered around the coastal area of central Yokohama kicked off on the same day and will run until Friday, July 31.

Set at a motorcycle festival in Minatomirai, Yokohama, the film is a battle mystery in which Conan and his friends, along with Chihaya Hagiwara of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Traffic Riot Police, pursue "Lucifer," a mysterious runaway motorcycle closely resembling a high-tech police motorcycle.

In conjunction with the movie's release, the City of Yokohama, the Yokohama Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Yokohama Minatomirai 21 association are collaborating on a variety of projects aimed at encouraging visitors to explore the city where the story takes place. A massive campaign will enliven the entire city of Yokohama, featuring special illuminations on the "Cosmo Clock 21" giant Ferris wheel, a wrapped "Bayside Blue" articulated bus, a stamp rally across 10 locations in the city, and more.

Furthermore, visitors can enjoy sightseeing in Yokohama while experiencing the world of the movie through a sticker giveaway campaign involving approximately 450 stores in the coastal area of central Yokohama, the sale of specially designed "Minato Burari Ticket" one-day sightseeing passes, special street decorations, and broadcasts of the theme song.
